Sales & Marketing 3rd Quarter 2015

•  30 december 2015

On the local front we have been very busy with Mall Expos and Investor Evenings this past quarter. In July and August we attended two Property Investor functions in Johannesburg and Pretoria, looking to attract Investors for the Commercial and Retail sections on Zandspruit. We are still busy with a prospective client who is showing interest in this side of the development.

In August we also took part in a Cutter & Buck Golf day, held at Copperleaf Golf Estate, which brought us a couple of interested buyers. On 23 August the last Airshow of the year was held – The Grand Rand Airshow. It was extremely well attended by aviation enthusiasts and as a result we have already had a site visit by a potential client with a couple more in the pipeline.

September saw the start of many Mall expos. From the 7th to 13th September we were at Fourways Mall in the north of Johannesburg. There has already been one site visit from the expo. Next stop was Cape Town to attend an Investor evening on the 14th September, which has produced an interested Investor for the Retirement Village, which we hope to have news about in the near future. We stayed on in Cape Town until the 18th September to revisit some old investors and have re kindled some interest from a couple of them. October 5th to 13th we took Zandspruit to the Somerset Mall in the Western Cape to test the Cape market and from the interest shown during that week there certainly could be an untapped market down there. Heading North to Brooklyn on the 19th to 25th October we had one of the better Mall Expo’s with a client reserving a stand and 3 site visits planned for
December.

Clearly the Pretoria market has been bush deprived and a place we need to revisit in the near future. Plans for the rest of the year include an Expo in Tzaneen, an expo in Killarney Mall in Johannesburg and the Nedbank Golf Challenge and hopefully loads of site visits. Potential investors for any of our exciting future projects should contact Brian Macaulay on brian@zandspruit.com for further information.
