The latest edition to the Zandspruit website is our Blog!
In this section we will give a more in-depth view of our Estate, the wilderness area, the plants and the animals, the weather, the construction side of Zandspruit, new developments and any other news we want to share with you. One of the blog subjects will be written by a nature loving home owner, John Gear. He is very passionate about the bush and our Estate. We are looking forward to seeing and publishing his views. Of course we will get our estate manager, and very knowledgeable Mike Cowden, involved in our blog too! There is nothing about the Estate and the bush that Mike does not know: if you are lost in the wilderness and you speak to Mike, just by describing what you see around you, he knows where you are and will guide you out of there ☺
The Zandspruit Estate lifestyle
We will be writing blogs about what it is like to be living on Zandspruit. Whether it is your holiday home or your permanent home: living on a secure wilderness estate is a lifestyle on its own; having to stop on the road because animals are crossing; no light pollution at night so the stars and moon can guide you on your way; relaxing and looking for animals on your veranda; taking a swim in your own pool; preparing a meal in your boma or in your fully equipped modern kitchen; enjoy the luxurious Estate lifestyle! Hoedspruit
This small Limpopo town has a lot to offer, from restaurants to schools, from tourist attractions to souvenir shops, you can find it all in and around Hoedspruit. Perfectly located close to Kruger Park and a perfect gateway to Mozambique or the South African coast. Combine that with friendly people, a stunning mountain and a warm climate and you have found paradise! We will be writing about the town and all the things you can do in the area and where to go.
Living and loving South Africa
The last subject we want to take with us in our blog post is living in South Africa. There is so much to love about the South African lifestyle, relaxed, enjoying nature and life, soaking up the sun, living outdoors. We are going to show you some behind the scenes of the South African life, recipes and how-to’s. We got our very own Tania, who is a cooking up the most delicious meals, and some of her recipes she is going to share with you!
We are very excited to start with this new section and we would like your input. Let us know what subjects you like to read blog posts about.
