This luxurious, newly built safari villa is located in the heart of the South African wilderness, on Zandspruit Estate near the Kruger Park and the Blyde River Canyon. The villa is located on the edge of the built-up area of the Estate, on the (usually) dry riverbed. Across the riverbed is the Estate’s vast Wilderness area, 650 acres of pristine nature. Between the huge trees you can see the Drakensberg Mountains in the background. In short, a unique location that does not often become available.

This villa offers you every possible luxury and space you could wish for and features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a spacious living room with open dining kitchen and a large covered terrace right by the pool. The total living area of the villa is 255 m2, of which 63 m2 is covered terrace.

Bed- and bathrooms

Of the 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom is en-suite. The two guest bedrooms share a spacious bathroom and are all generously sized. Of course, all bedrooms are air-conditioned. All bathrooms have a toilet, an indoor shower and an outdoor shower.

The large kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances, including a combi hot air/microwave oven, a conventional oven, a warming drawer, dishwasher, a 5 burner 90 cm wide gas hob and two built-in refrigerators with freezer compartment. All appliances are from Bosch.

Living room

The living room consists of a spacious sitting area with a large dining table separating the kitchen and living room.  The living room is equipped with a fireplace, making it comfortably warm during the colder winter months (July and August).

Covered patio

The 63 m2 covered patio is equipped with a dining table that can accommodate 8 people and also features a built-in braai (barbecue). Plenty of room for cosy evenings of entertainment. There is also enough space for a comfortable lounge set.

Outdoor terrace

In Hoedspruit the temperatures are pleasant to warm throughout the year. This makes it possible to relax outside all year round. The uncovered part of the terrace (40 m2) offers enough space for the whole family to enjoy the sun. The covered part of terrace has a luxurious lounge set where you can enjoy unsurpassed sunsets and breath-taking views of the riverbed.

Huge trees hundreds of years old provide shade from the sun, making the terrace a great place to relax at any time of day. Pools of water often remain in the riverbed, even in the dry season, making it a coming and going of the Wildlife that is on the Estate. Uniquely, despite its (lower) location on the riverbed, there is a view of the Drakensberg Mountains through the trees.

The private swimming pool offers year-round swimming pleasure due to the available heating system, even in the winter months (July and August).

Carport, utility room / scullery

Next to the entrance is a spacious double carport (48m2) situated. The carport is equipped with solar panels. The utility room is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer, both with a capacity of 9kg and offers plenty of storage space for your belongings.

The villa is equipped with solar panels and a home battery (5Kw) that allows essentials to continue working (refrigerators, lights, internet) even during power outages. Unique to South Africa is that excess power generated can be fed back within the Estate’s network. The villa is virtually energy neutral.

The home is connected to fiber optics, the current subscription internet speed is 50Mbps up/download speed and can be increased to 200Mbps if desired.

The home was built in 2021 and barely used (total approximately 3 months). The villa is sold including full luxury interior.
